Tips for using an iPad and Collaborate

Tips on using iPads to access Collaborate and other online course materials:

  1. Use Chrome instead of Safari
  2. To access the Collaborate tool, click the small gray arrow in the upper left. This will open the menu that you are used to seeing when a Harvey course is accessed from a desktop. You also may be used to seeing the blue bar that appears when this menu is minimized, so the appearance may be different on the ipad, but you can access the menu and functionality via the small gray arrow in the upper left corner of the screen.
  3. Business students who are in CIS courses will need to download the Mac version of Microsoft Access. The keystrokes are probably different, but this will allow you to complete projects.
  4. Create a virtual student study group using Harvey Collaborate.
